Welcome to our IKIGAI, the Japanese term referring to a passion that gives value and joy to life. It means “reason for being” — can be referred to as your purpose, life mission, or simply your reason to get up in the morning. 
 

We started our shop back in Japan as "Jane's Designs," but rebranded to "Blooming Canvas." Moving around the world brings many changes and challenges, especially with starting a business in a new location, but our love for crafting has always remained the same. The word Blooming is a reminder to adapt and learn to bloom where we are planted. The word Canvas and the dove with the olive branch in our logo is a reminder of a new canvas; new beginnings  (Genesis 8). With every new beginning, we learn how we can keep improving our craft and finding better resources, to best serve you.
